Sunday, December 7th, 2008Pissed. My entry got erased. Time to say it again. Mangs. Okay, first this strip is cool. It’s by Jamie Dee Galey, the first artist for Filth Hole, which at its start was hilarious. Now defunct, but check it out nonetheless. NSFW btw.
The strip reminds me of my friend Chris who is always being confronted when he walks down the street, for no apparent reason. I think it is because Chris is of a liminal size to these dudes he passes, and they don’t know if they should fight or flight. I think it’s because he’s small-ish but compact.
Next. I think this story, by Jamie’s son I believe?, is so sweet. It’s almost like a recursive story that never ends (”A boy woke up and decided to write down his dream. It went like this: ‘A boy woke up and decided to write down his dream. It went like this: ”A boy woke up and decided to write down his dream…””).
